Who Would Have Guessed? Why I Love Flower Essences

Last fall I had the bright idea of focusing on an organ system each month and utilizing herbs, flower essences, energy medicine and so much more to boost each organ system. Well that’s how it started anyway.

Since I love how our emotions can be stored in our organs, I decided to find a flower essence for the meridian line through the digestive system. I found myself on the Tree Frog Farm website because I do have some of their flower essences. As I’m reading about the Organ Energy Meridian Blend for the stomach my eyes kept going over to the right hand column where they list some of their top favorite flower essences. Strange – what is trying to get my attention. I couldn’t take my eyes off of Stinging Nettle flower essence. Hummmm – I have that flower essence. So I opened up the description and there were a number of possibilities. The one that stood out the most was:

Stinging Nettle: Feeling unable to change old behavior patterns or to live as your authentic self. Helps you see and change old behaviors.

But what does that have to do with my digestive system?

So I got out all my flower essences and my crystal pendulum. The crystal pendulum has always been the way I connect to what the flower essences want me to work on at the moment or what needs to shift. To my surprise another flower essence and a crystal essence got a YES from the crystal pendulum. I never would have picked either one out of my flower essence collection.

Crab Apple: For cleansing and restorative, bringing a sense of inner purity. The imbalance has a lot to do with feeling unclean or needing to release physical or psychic toxicity. Those obsessed with imperfection or cleansing. This is just not me. I have added Crab Apple flower essence to acne formulas for clients with great results, but I don’t have that problem either.

Essence of the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid: This is a gem essence I made after meditating with a crystal in the King’s Chamber of the Great Pyramid (yes an amazing once in a lifetime experience). The intention was for deep healing.

Well I was really stumped on this but have been intrigued for decades over the wisdom of flower essences and the connection I have between them and my crystal pendulum. So I put them together in a formula and decided to see what would shift.

Within a few days I was cleaning out my refrigerator. Then started using my Commit30 planner/tracker for meal planning and finding new recipes (btw tracking what I eat has always annoyed me to no end). My diet changed and I was spending more time in my kitchen. Next thing I’m tracking my water intake and cutting back on lattes and snacks. All sorts of things subtly changed. So subtle that I didn’t even put it together with the flower essence combination.

One day I was looking at my living room and decided it was time to donate a couch and chair. Out of the blue a friend took me to a favorite furniture store and I found myself ordering a new couch with two extra pillows and a chair. So not my normal but I was excited. It wasn’t until the couch and two extra pillows arrived and I sat down with a smile and said “this couch is so me!” that it hit me. What did the old couch and chair represent? Yes two wonderful people in my past life that absolutely had something to do with “a kitchen”. Their kitchens were sort of their sacred space, their place to create. You could cruise through and maybe help but otherwise not really my place. It was sometimes subtle on their part but there was a vibrational frequency about their kitchens. If you are energy sensitive, like me, and very vibrationally aware, it is almost like sandpaper.

Going back to the combination, I now realize that the flower essences were telling me that there was an old behavior pattern, very deep seated, that no longer served me. Maybe it served me in the past, but it no longer serves me now and it’s time to change. It’s time to release the pattern or vibrational frequency. While I wouldn’t call it toxic or impure, I’d say Crab Apple was telling me it’s time to cleanse that thinking and restore a more authentic me.

This is a profound shift for me that I’ll definitely take some time watching it unfold. I’m really looking forward to see how this evolves.

Keep in mind we are all vibrational beings. We’re operating at a frequency and, just like the old radio dials, if you don’t like the station (or vibration) you need to change the station (or different frequency). Flower essences are all about vibrational frequency and they help in such a magical way. Also why I don’t pick a flower essence by the description. Maybe after the fact I’ll read the description, but they really call out to me. Yes thank you Stinging Nettle for grabbing my eyes and not letting go — and bringing along a couple of other friends!
