Two Weeks of Weight Lifting Meets Two Weeks of Holy Basil

Even though I know small steps, even over a short time, can add up to change, in just two weeks I feel stronger on more than just the physical level.  Holy Basil is definitely strengthening my inner sanctuary, it’s softening the voice inside that tends to complain about doing all the things that are for the highest good of my body, mind, and spirit.

So where does that “voice deep inside” live in my body/mind?  Is it really talking me into eating sugar and lots of tea to keep going?  Or is it asking for support and I just don’t understand what it’s asking for?

The spirit of Holy Basil is meeting my inner wisdom where ever she lives and sitting down for a chat.  “What is it you really need?”  More water, less tea, more nurturing, less intensity, different foods to eat, more play in Nature, more rest, and a change up in the exericse.   So many healthy activities have flowed through me over these last two weeks.

Did I mention easily and effortlessly?  Oh, the joy of connecting to my inner wisdom!
